A Few of My Favorite Things: Valentine's Day Edition

Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

Here are a few gifts to consider for Her and Him:

For Her:

-- Good for any occasion. Classy and pretty. You can't go wrong :)

-- This necklaces is lovely. It's adjustable and basically becomes 3 different necklaces. It comes in silver and gold. I have the gold, and I love it.

-- I received these earrings as a gift (in turquoise) and they are beautiful. A pentagon stone with gold or silver accent. Edgy or classic - you can find one that fits her style.

-- I am in love with these sunglasses. The shape is flattering on so many face shapes (...they have been stolen off my face quite a few times by friends). The color is classic, chic. The material is great because you can adjust them to fit perfectly.

-- Buy her one season's box and you might get her addicted. Beauty, fitness and home products picked for her seasonally/quarterly (valued ~$200 total). Such a fun little surprise each time!

For Him:

-- Soft material. Classic look. Cozy. Warm colors, especially the tamale red.

-- Comfortable. Versatile. Classy. Dress them up or down.

-- This will end up being a gift for BOTH of you. The Nintendo Switch has something for everyone. Easy setup, intuitive controllers/games, sleek appearance and travel-ready. Unexpectedly, our favorite gift on this list!!!

-- By far, our favorite game. This is coming from someone who never played video games regularly. Beautiful graphics. Entertaining puzzles. Intriguing story. Super fun to play but also a great game to watch (...helping him find Koroks and figuring out the shrine puzzles) . You'll be wishing you bought the expansion pack once you start playing because you won't want it to end. Don't worry, there is definitely enough to do with main game...hours and hours and hours :)

-- Great for groups or couples. Let off a little steam with your favorite character. More characters, more battlefields, more fun for any skill level!

-- Re-live your childhood and enjoy the new and old races. We played this for way to many hours. The road rage was real!

-- The nostalgia factor is there. The game is great for groups. A little simpler and smaller than prior versions of the game but still pretty fun.

For Him or Her:

-- It's amazing! It works with most lamps and overhead lights. Experience up to 16 million colors?!? We have them in the bedroom and living room. Game changer! "Alexa, turn on the living room lights," because we just got home. "Alexa, dim the lights to 10%," so we can stay comfy on the couch and watch Netflix."Alexa, turn off the lights," so we don't have to get our butts out of bed. It also works with Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.

-- If your special someone doesn't already have an Echo at home, then this is a no-brainer. Alexa has a little something for everyone. The speaker and microphone are better than on prior versions. Classy design for any home. Best of all, it works with the all the amazing SmartHome products, such as the Phillips Hue Lights.

-- Must-have tech for tv watching. There is endless tv at your finger tips: watch Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime Video, Handmaid's Tale on Hulu, The Walking Dead on AMC, Game of Thrones on HBO, Flip or Flop on HGTV, The Bold Type on Freeform and Friends or Parks & Rec (for the millionth time)...or Birdbox on Netflix.

-- If your special someone is unintentionally careless with his/phone, I would recommend this case. Strong hard case with a lip, so your screen doesn't crack after accidentally tossing your phone across the room. Bright colors, so it's easy to find. Rubber grip, so it doesn't slide off tables/chairs or out of pockets/purses.

-- No matter if your Valentine has a tendency to be neat or messy, he or she will appreciate this little guy. We named ours "Spot." It's Wi-Fi connected and works with Alexa. Simple setup and then you both get to enjoy hands-free cleaning on your own schedule. It seamlessly maps out the home and then moves from hard floors to carpet. Works for pet hair (supposedly).
